Check out three clinics designed to improve your volleyball skills! Classes last for 6 weeks & are taught by Volleyball Professionals in conjunction with the EVP Tour. Ross Balling runs EVP and Volleyball Professionals and teaches many of the classes himself.
Monday class times are as follows:
Intro to Doubles 201 - 6:15-7:15 PM
Skills & Drills 201 - 7:15-8:15 PM
Skills & Drills 101 - 8:15-9:15 PM
Skills and Drills 101 is for the beginner player that wants to learn and improve their passing, setting and spiking fundamentals in a relaxed and fun setting. Lesson plans will help each student reach a new level.
Intro to Doubles 201 is for the intermediate/advanced player who wants to start preparing for beach season! This class is designed for players with at least 2 years of volleyball skills training who wishes to compete in 2 on 2 tournaments on the beach. You will begin to learn a new game! The class hits on all skills groups, with an emphasis on footwork, plyometric training & in game strategy. The Doubles class is capped at TWELVE (12) participants! This is a great complement with our Skills and Drills 201 class.
Skills and Drills 201 is for the intermediate/advanced player that wants to learn and improve their passing, setting and spiking fundamentals in a relaxed and fun setting. This class is designed for players who have taken the 101 class already or come in with an intermediate level skill set. I have really enjoyed my experience so far, it's a super fun way to meet new people in the city! Definitely recommend for anyone new to Chicago or just looking to meet people in general!!
I’ve been playing in Players volleyball tournaments and leagues for the last 10 years and am always so impressed. They are beyond organized with their tournaments, are super responsive and attract great competition. 11/10 stars!!
Great people and great vibes. If you're looking to get out and meet some people while having fun then Players Sports is for you. There are leagues and tournaments for a bunch of different sports. They run them for all skill levels and you get cool shirts if you win. Also a lot of free promos - they give out a lot of energy drinks and other stuff. Overall, very fun and very friendly environment.
Players is awesome for adult sports leagues! Something for everyone and always a great time! Always meeting new people and joining in on different events.
I have been playing with Players Sports Volleyball leagues and tournaments for years now and love it! They always provide a competitive atmosphere while displaying sportsmanship throughout the entire time. I have signed up with teams, I have also signed up by myself and been placed on a team which have turned into friendships and continued participation. I highly recommend Players Sport Social for competitive volleyball and all sports!
