Zell Am See, Austria
January 27 - February 3
Zell Am See is one of Europe's top ski resorts and is consistently listed as the #1 most beautiful ski resort in Austria! Zell Am See sits at the base of Lake Zell and offers unparalleled views of both a beautiful lake and the massive carved Alps. The ski terrain is massive with over 400km of skiing and great for all levels of skiing. It was recently linked with another world class ski resort, Saalbach, Austria! The village is historic and drop-dead beautiful! Apres ski and nightlife in Zell Am See is what we have come to love about Austria...extremely fun and lively. Austria never disappoints! |
We will be staying at the beautiful Hotel Lebzelter which has been owned by the same family for over 500 years! The hotel is located in the center of the village just steps from the lifts and nightlife! |
You will have the option to give your legs a break from skiing and spend the day visiting beautiful Ljubljana, Slovenia! This will be our first time ever venturing into Slovenia and visiting this fairy tale capital city. More than 2,000 years old, this ancient city has charmed visitors for centuries with its stunning architecture and gorgeous period character. It is a great opportunity to soak in a different culture and savor the local food for an amazing day! |

Croatia, Bosnia & Montenegro Extension
February 3 - February 9
6 night sightseeing extension option |
We will arrive mid-day in ancient Split, Croatia and spend the the the afternoon and next day exploring this amazing cities. Split, located on the Dalmatian coast in Croatia, is a vibrant port city well-known for its ancient center, beautiful architecture, and exquisite cuisine. Split is one of the most enthralling towns on the whole of the Adriatic Sea, this one draws in nigh on one million people every year.
After spending a day in Split we will take our first day trip to Zadar, Croatia. Home to a historic old town of Roman ruins, medieval churches, cosmopolitan cafes and quality museums set on a small peninsula, Zadar is an intriguing city that will take us back in time as it is the longest continually lived in city in Croatia. |
Next we will take one of our most unique day trips to Mostar, Bosnia. With Bosnia's civil war a distant memory, Mostar is one of the most frequented attractions from Croatia and Bosnia's top site, thanks to its outstanding natural beauty, architecture, and its famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is full of quintessential Ottoman architecture, with plenty of traditional restaurants, market stalls, mosques and other historic buildings. It is also surrounded by stunning landscape waiting to be explored. Mostar will definitely have a different feel and vibe from our Dalmatian Coast stops.
Next we head to spectacular Dubrovnik, Croatia. Dubrovnik is commonly referred to as the Pearl of the Adriatic and for good reason. This magnificent medieval walled city (proclaimed a UNESCO world heritage site) has been used as a location for filming HBO’s “Game of Thrones”. Within tall and strong medieval walls lies one of the most beautiful coastal cities of Europe. |
On our final full day we will visit our third country of our trip, Montenegro. We will tour one of the prettiest small cities in Europe, Kotor, Montenegro! Kotor is known as the most beautiful town on the coast of Montenegro. In particular, Kotor is known for the Medieval Old Town and the 16th-century fortifications that rise up the hill to protect it. The views from here are nothing less than spectacular!
Both our hotel in Split and Dubrovnik are 5-star and very centrally located. In Dubrovnik we will wake up each morning to beautiful views of Adriatic Sea from most of our rooms and watch the sunset from our hotel decks. |
