Most players are reorienting themselves to the court on the first night of the season. This was not so for Daniel Fletcher from the Comeback Joes. Daniel jumped into the season opener with killer top-spin serves, perfectly-timed back row hits, and surprisingly accurate one-armed passes. For his all-around stellar performance on the court, Daniel is our Player of the Week. Congratulations, Daniel!

Comeback Joes-The Energetic Team
Elyse was a ball of energy on the court. She tried to involve as many players as she could in each play. She encouraged people whenever they made mistakes and praised the plays that went well. She always called the ball and talked to her teammates when they needed a little help finding the empty spots on the court. Thanks Elyse for making this game such an exciting team event! Even though Setting Ducks was a player down, you would have never known! Not the way Ryan was covering the court. Not only was Ryan making some fantastic plays, getting touches that no one thought possible - what effort! - he was a fountain of energy and enthusiasm for his teammates. It was really nice to watch Ryan and the Setting Ducks have a blast on the court!

Mary from Damn It Tom! was awesome tonight. She was the glue her team needed to keep it together in the championship match. She kept her teammates going with positivity and encouragement to gain that victory. She had some crucial sets and passes to her power hitters that ended in great plays. We are excited to see Mary and the rest of Damn It Tom! back next season! Congrats of being player of the week!
