Bowling Schedule

Spring Big Turkey Bowling at Sun Villa Wednesdays 7pm

Wednesday, March 23

Gutter Dusters
300 came into this season with a somewhat dominating streak of Big Turkey Bowling championships. But they were caught with an unexpected challenge from Gutter Dusters, who upset the defending champions. Jon's 205 led the pack, which was surprising, given his claim that he hadn't bowled in years. If this is how he bowls when rusty, then we should all watch out when he actually gets warmed up.

Indy #1
Play started off slow tonight and I hadn't given out a single "prize coupon" but Ashley set the stage with the first BIG TURKEY of the night!! She continued to shine, ending game one with 4 spares, 3 strikes and a total pinfall of 172....the highest overall score of game one.

Way to go Ashley!!

Gotta give a shout-out to Jason of "Lane Rangers", bowling a personal best of 222, with 7 strikes and 2 TURKEYS in game 2!!!

Bowlwinkle
The entire "Bowlwinkle" team deserves the honor of Player of the Week. Talk about rockin' the 80's....but it has to go to Katie who bowled a personal best game tonight. Doesn't hurt that game one started with strikes in 5 of the first 6 frames. Katie ended game one with a 128! Go Katie!

Jake the Snake comes across as the shy, strong and silent type, but when he bowls, he is still strong, but LOUD!!!! What a night Jake had.

Game 1: 6 strikes (including a turkey) and a final score of 187
Game 2: 6 strikes (another turkey) only 1 open frame and a final score of 217!!

Most people only wish they could bowl that RAD!!

This is one snake to watch out for!!

Bowl Movement
If there were ever a uniform for Big Turkey Bowling, Heather (better known as Lil' Chuck by her teammates) had the perfect hat for it. She was a perfect bouncing bowling pin this week! Not to mention she was sporting an Underdog Sweatshirt!

I think that her perfect hat helped her with her bowling skills tonight, she bowled 3 spares in a row to earn her first ever Prize Coupon...

She commented that her team only keeps her around to earn them Spirit Tickets. She even almost earned a second Prize Coupon, as she went on to get 5 spares in a row! Way to go Heather!!!!

PS- Congrats on your upcoming wedding!!

PPS- Congrats to the entire team for providing a plethora of hats to keep things VERY interesting!
