Semi-Pro Team in A COED league?

I was by the players sports reps before our first game yesterday that even though the league was advertised as a A/B league that this league was actually more of a Rec league that would have maybe 1-2 teams that were pretty good and that the most important thing was to have a few drinks and have some fun.

I’m gonna say that the Raaaaage team is more than pretty good, I’d put them in the category of professional beach volleyball players getting ready for upcoming Olympic trials, and don’t belong in this league at all. I watched the other teams and none of them had a “code” system of where the ball needed to go in order to set up a 100mph kill shot spike. I’ll be that first admit that I took one off the face on the first “Ralley” and that shit was funny...but it also hurt. If that happened to one the girls on my team they woulda been knocked out cold. And with exception of the taller of the two guys, they had zero respect for the fun of the game and were going for head shots on pretty much every possession...even while up 15-0, didn’t matter how obvious it was that none of us know how to return a spike that’s coming at us faster than a randy Johnson fastball.

We stuck around and watch all the other teams and all of them looked like your average coed team trying to have some fun.

Players sports should move these guys to a different league or just give them the boot before Mr. throw the ball uo 20’ in the air jump serve send one of these 100mph spikes with the brand new(harder) balls into a girls face and concusses her.

They can train for the Olympics somewhere else.

Great people and great vibes. If you're looking to get out and meet some people while having fun then Players Sports is for you. There are leagues and tournaments for a bunch of different sports. They run them for all skill levels and you get cool shirts if you win. Also a lot of free promos - they give out a lot of drinks and other stuff. Overall, very fun and very friendly environment.

For the last three years, I have been playing indoor and beach volleyball with Players Sport & Social. They are always exceptional and professional. My favorite part of the leagues is the cadence and the different formats that they offer; whether you want to play Rec vs Competitive or 2s vs 6s - they have it all! They also have referees for all of their indoor leagues, and they are prompt to email requests.
